short and sweetNite Owl and Dr Manhattan are a fantastic duo for a volume! I love how Nite Owl’s story progresses and how Dan becomes Nite Owl’s prodigy. There is also a sexual side to Nite Owl and it is not something I expected and some real baggage, but it all makes for a more interesting story! There is also some insight into his partnership with Rorschach, which I particularly enjoyed.

Dr Manhattan’s story was mind blowing. Full of crazy future and past happenings and it explains a lot about him. There is also a bit of a mind bend about what would have happened if he didn’t alter his destiny and what would have happened if he stayed human. If you like quantum physics and all that jazz, then you will like this part of the volume!

This volume also includes Moloch. He is one of those characters I sympathize with. Teased mercilessly for his looks, betrayed and tricked. However, then he goes super villain. I love how you get to see another perspective through Moloch and how his story ties together with that of Ozymandias.
